Hi, I’m Nidhi and I’m moving into my sophomore year at Georgia Tech. I’m a mechanical engineering major and plan to pursue a manufacturing concentration.On reaching Tech I realized that even though the university is mainly focused on academics, especially STEM, the hands-on opportunities available on campus make learning a lot more fun. In my first year, I trained to become a prototyping instructor at the Invention Studio and was the Industry Events chair for the Society of Women Engineers. Tech was a great fit for me because it provides a mix of both, a great campus and a city-lifestyle as it’s located in the heart of Atlanta.
